Cant find a breeder

I have been looking everywhere for a breeder but I cnt seem to find one in brisbane. Someone said it would be best to purchase my axies from a breeder not a pet store.
Could it be that Im hunting for them in the wrong time of the year?

It's a bit early still, but some breeders already are selling axolotls. Just keep a close eye on the "for sale in UK" section.

Jake, it's late summer/early autumn in Australia right now, not spring like the northern hemisphere. Also, for Plonk to get some from the UK would be illegal.

If you don't find them there, it may be worth it to find axolotl keepers around you and ask them where their axolotls came from.

Thanx, I check that part of the forum out everyday. I dont know anyone who has them, so I think I will just have to go the the pet shop to buy them.
