Can you send eggs ..

Hi,
can you send Giant African Land Snail eggs over seas lets say UK to Canada? or is it against the law? please help...ben

ps u cant send newt eggs over seas can u? im not 100% sure on this one thankz
 
All postal services prohibit the shipping of anything "alive" between countries. On top of that, those snails are completely illegal to own in the US (for good reason)... not sure about Canada.
 
ok thanks for the info, i know its kinda bad for ppl to own these pets as pets in diffrent contrys because they can be devistating if they bred in the wild, since they have around 400 eggs, my mate used to throw his eggs in the bin,,,.....jus imagine if they all hatched..i doubt it since its freezing:p thanks for the info jennifer ben

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
