Attached are pics of 2, 3 month old axies. The gold one is quite bright and has a white underbelly and feet. Really cool looking. I dunno why there is a blue glow in the pic. I think it's reflection from the leds, but the rest of the pics hold true. Thanks for your help

I'm bad with morphs but it looks like a melanoid and a wild. Hopefully, someone can correct if I am wrong.

Off the top of my head I would say picture 1 is melanoid, grey melanoid, lavender (All the same thing). Picture 2 looks like a wild type. Their are all kinds of "morph" descriptions and some might describe them different especially if they know the animals genetic ancestry. I tend to look at them and describe them by phenotype and not by genotype. Some of the genotype describers will call an animal something it is clearly not and they base their type on the genes only. Some of the phenotype describers will not know about the genetic history and can't tease all of the more subtle types.

Cool. I really like the meloid, seems to be getting more and more Purple / Lavender and less grey by the day almost haha. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it is older. I like them all lol but the idea that an axolotl can be purplish us neat!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
