Can you overfeed an axolotl?

if your only meant to feed them that much a week then how come on the axolotl pellets i have says to feed them twice a day?? and how much should i feed them after they have been starving themselves for over a week and how only just started eating now?

with little ones i believe they are hungry if their toes touch the floor.

Older adult axys weight should be monitored a bit

It says you should feed them pellets twice a day so you use them up faster, so you have to buy more ;)

I feed my axies every second day. A good way to check if your axolotl is a good weight is that their tummy should be as wide as their head (above view)

Honestly, it depends on your axolotls:
hatchlings - 2x a day
Juveniles - daily
sub-adults - every other day
adults -2-3x a week

This seems to be the general rule, at least.
