My babies hatched 2 days ago and tonight I have given them their first dinner (such a proud mum). However I am concerned that I have put too many bbs in there. All their little tummies are nice and pink now full with bbs, however there seems to be heaps of bbs left buzzing around. Do I take the baby axies out now or will they stop eating when they are full?

Much appreciated :)

They will stop eating when they have had their fill. Brine shrimp will live for a few hours in the water so they will probably munch on them until the brine shrimp die off.

They do better if fed a lot, however make sure you remove any uneaten foods a few hours after feeding to prevent the water from fouling. A turkey baster is your best friend at this time in their life cycle!

Thanks so much for your reassurance. You worry if they are not eating enough, and you worry if they are eating too much!
