Can someone help me sex this axolotl???

Ive had my axie for about 5 months now. i just noticed that its toes are now very very dark which i was told, is when you can tell if they are a boy or a girl, but i still am not sure. i name the axie Esme in hopes that its a girl. can someone help me?

I think she's still too young to know.

Still too young to be sure but if you can post a photo from above it would be very helpful. I am leaning towards boy at this stage though.

Dark toe tips are not a sign of maturity or gender - they are just a sign of dark toe tips!
You can't make an accurate determination of gender until they are 8" at least, and about 9-12 months old.
