I have an eft-phase of an Eastern Newt and wondered in non-Sphagnus mosses (those outside the genus Sphagnum) can be used for its substrate. I looked on the care sheet and only saw that "a moist woodland terrarium" is suggested. Or should I use shredded coconut husk fiber? I looked at the few photos that are on the web and saw some with non-Sphagnus mosses.....
