Can I put panda corydoras with my fire-bellied newts?

Hi! I've been building a sort of paludarium recently, and a breeder friend gifted me four fire bellies (orientalis), who I plopped into the tank. Three of them are mostly aquatic, and one of them likes hanging out on the terrestrial area. On the other hand, in my older, larger community tank, I have a single panda corydora (bad choice, I'm aware), and I'm debating between relocating him to the new tank along with some schooling partners or simply putting the new pandas into the community tank. I worry that the pandas and the salamanders will conflict over territory or get into scuffles, even though neither of the species, according to my research, seem to show aggressive behavior.

The water parameters are pretty much identical except for temperature; it'll be warmer in the community tank, since I've got tropical fish sharing the space in there, but it shouldn't surpass 26C even in the height of summer. I'm considering the paludarium for them (18-22C) because it has more hiding space and a sandy bottom, plus there'll be comparatively less competition for food and they'll help clean up whatever the salamanders ignore.

I doubt the cories can do anything to the salamanders, so that's not a real worry. Is it possible for the salamanders to attack the cories, though? The tank is relatively small (24L), but the salamanders have been kept in a tank of the same size since essentially birth. Is it safe to have the two species share a space? Would there be any risks?

Thanks in advance!

After looking into that, I think it's a good point. I'll probably keep my cories in the community tank from here on out.

However, do you think the newts could be dissuaded from going after them if the fish were larger? Just for future reference.

My only experience with fish and newts was white cloud minnows with Chinese fire belly newts.
No problems with agression, but feeding could be sometimes problematic.
WCM are very fast after little food (red worms or daphnias for example).
Conversely, they couldn't feed on earthworms I gave to the newts.
Ideally, I should have given them 2 food types each time, but all types of food were not available at each time.
