Hello everyone

Now I know this is very off topic but I'm after some advice on university's. I'm an Australian student in my second year of uni; I've gotten accepted for exchange next year. Right now my choice is narrowed between Clarkson University and California State University. Any advice one where would be good to go?

Oh also I'm studying psychology so if anybody knows which of those two has a better psyc program I'd love to know

Thanks everyone!!!

BTW Axolotls rule!!!!

Cali is more "party" and Clarkston is more academic. *grin*

Really cause Cali is ranked in the top ten uni's in America for psyc.

And won't Clarkson be awfully cold in January next year? I'm not a huge fan of the cold.

I didn't mean that Cali wasn't a serious school, quite the opposite in fact. You'll just have access to a beautiful area when not in class. And I'm like you, no love for the cold weather. :D

So are you a student there? It looks like such a nice place to be

...:p and I was about to recommend the University of Alaska.....:D

Boo, I went there briefly back in the late 80's early 90's when I was stationed out there in the military. :D

@ Molch... lolz well I have to pick from the ones I have applied for but I bet Alaska would be freezing too

@Satyrlike... oh cool. I'm now leaning toward the colder of the two though. Seeing as I'm an aussie I think it might be fun to live in the snow for a while. Plus Clarkson is a smaller campus, might be better for a first time out of home

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
