Cacelians with Cynops?

Hi all. It said I couldnt post on the other anphibian page. So im posting it here. I know this might be a stupid question but here it goes.
I was wandering if I could keep an aquatic cacelian with my cynops species. In a 50 gallon with 15 other cynops, or 8 cynops of different asortments. And will one eat bloodworms? Just wandering?

Very bad idea. Caecilians are tropical animals requiring warm temperatures (77-82F). Therefore these animals are highly incompatible with salamanders.

As far as mixing Cynops of different assortments, also not the best idea. The general rule of thumb is never mix species, no matter what they are.

I would not suggest placing a typhlonectes in with any aquatic animal that was not able to evade the caecilian at night. I have had T. natans capture, kill and consume red eye tree frogs at work.

Additionally Typhlonectes do best at about 80 F (27 C) which is much too warm for the Cynops.
Typhlonectes also like the water to be very acidic (as low as 4.5 but always below 6.5) and soft (as low as 5 ppm total hardness) which many caudates do not appreciate.

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
