The quality of your photos is quite all right, Tomas! And don't be ashamed of hydra; these kinds of critters are the sign of a healthy tank, in my opinion. Your newts are lovely, keep up the good work!!!
 
Nice photos of some nice Sasayama, Tommy!

I see you have some with golden coloration in the throat area especially, which is something I really like in this type of C. pyrrhogaster.

Good luck with them!

(The diet of left one consisted of tubifex worms and he is yellow.The second one was fed by daphnia - note the solid red colour!)
 
Food has influence over colour? Ive seen the color of fish vary by the fat content of their food, but i have'nt heard of it in newts. thats pretty cool!
