Bye.

Well done, Pere!
It´s always nice to see success in captive breeding of any species, but since the Kanto race is fairly rare in the hobby, it´s an added bonus.
How long was it until they started to become aquatic again? In my experience with Sasayama, they can be fully aquatic after just a few months, at a small size, or even skip the terrestrial phase entirely.

beautiful newts! Do you remember how long the eggs developed from laying to hatching?

Very nice! Just to be clear, this isn't evolution, it's development.

Hello.

OK development no evolution, ok, thanks ;)

Molch, im' not very sure but i mixed eggs of diferent days in the same acuarium, and are diferences about the Temperatures, but i think minium 20 days ( at actually i have 18 days eggs).

Azhael, there are individuals more acuatics ( and after morphs) and other not like water, many individual diferences about relation water-earth, but in 3 months after morph, 80% of newts go to water when the eat is in there, but when finished eat return to the land area.

Bye!
