C. e. popei belly patterns (Tokashiki Island?)

I just finished reading tims article (it was great, BTW) and it looks like my C.e.p. juvies have similar belly patterns to the Tokashiki island individuals pictured in the article. Here are 2 pics so you can tell me what you think.

i guess i should note that all the animals have simlar belly patterns (1 stripe, from bottom of chin to vent). I was only able to get photos of 2 of them.

typical belly pattern for juvenile C.e.!
But it will change until they are adult to more orange parts.

Nice! They sure do look like they could come from there, though it's hard to say with any certainty.

About the article, thanks a lot. I'm thinking of reposting some of those pics and others here because they (understandably) ended up pretty small in the magazine.

I'm planning on going again in the next month or two, though I may have missed the breeding season in the north. Perhaps I'll visit Tokashiki instead and do some extensive shooting of belly patterns there
