Congrats Garrison! Good job and your female certainly doesn't look malnourished.

Well, I woke up today and found that my male was displaying again.

The female had taken up the spermatophore mostly and swam away to sit. It's just barely visible in this pic sticking out of her cloaca.

It seems however that some females aren't as good at aiming as others. Hey, ummmm, you got something on your foot there...

Garrison, what's the water temperature in the tank at the moment?

I think I have it at 70-72F right now, it's gotten up to 74F.

Maybe that's not obvious from the pic, but the female in the last pic had a spermatophore stuck to her foot.

Unfortunately this was the clearest shot of it I could get.

My cyanurus have also just started laying eggs. I'll try to get some photos of them. My sole male doesn't look very macho, but at least some of the eggs are developing, so I guess he's doing his job. The temperature in my cyanurus tank is a fairly constant 18C/66F.

Here are photos of my cyanurus.
1. Female with eggs.
2. The 3 females.
3. Male with females. He isn't very colorful, in fact I only convinced myself a few weeks ago that he was actually male. But already there are fertile eggs.

Just found an egg (hopefully the first) in my "New-World"-cyanurus tank

. Seems like my group has started egglaying also at 20.2°C (68.4°F).

There haven't been many eggs so far(10-15), but it seems the ones laid so far have been mostly infertile. It also seems that some that are being laid are being eaten by other newts. Not sure what to do, it this continues I may have to take the labor intensive route of harvesting them.
