Daddy saw buttercup and ran straight into the cave (maybe hes shy,) while rap swam straight to her and welcomed her and now they follow eachother.

alll bless the little wuss ^_^ haha! How old are they all?

well rap is about a year and a half and butter cup is the same size so she might be the same.
daddy is about a year and 1 month.

oh and hes still hiding in the cave :p

that cave is for reptiles but it can also be used for fish. the problem is that when the axies release air, the bubbles after a while lift cave, lol, so i have to put a rock on top lol.

you could just drill realy small holes in the top of the cave how is that rock staying on top is it possible for it to fall

its stable, it wont fall.
i rock it now and then and it wont move.
plus rap like to stand on the rock with one leg and have the other 3 legs in the air :D looks like hes dancing or something

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
