bump on axolotls tail. Help

Hi! Today I noticed a bump on my axolotls tail. I’ve never heard of it, or seen it. I am really concerned. She doesn’t eat as much, but she still being normal. Her waters levels are good. Can anyone tell me if this is good or not?

possibly a spinal issue or maybe a tumor. either way, if they’re acting normal it should be fine - axolotls can’t get cancer anyways

i completely understand, i was worried sick when little mudkip (my pfp) first arrived, i was convinced he was dying lol
5 months later and he’s still going strong.
although, i was on chemo at the time so that might’ve effected my mental state a little - made me worry more yknow
