Bufo brongersmai - problem?

Over the last few months, several of my female B. brongersmai have developed this swollen appearance (the males look slimmer, like the one in the photo foreground). Is this a problem, or is this normal for females "of a certain age"?

usually females are bigger than mals because they have to lug around babys so this is probably just normal.....but if they start to look SWOLLEN then i would get it checked out....

They can get swollen due to the development of eggs....the right ones surely is, the left one seems a bit more swollen. If it is just the females it seems that points in the direction that you have to start breeding them!
