Hi All,

I have recently discovered a few bubbles floating around in one of my Chinese Firebelly newts' tanks. I'm curious to know if this is harmful, and what the cause might be. The babies are 4 years old now, and I've not noticed this before...

I'd be grateful for your input! Thanks!

If it's bubbles that stick around for days without popping, and if there appears to be some sort of white residue on the water, do a partial water change (try to get as much off the surface as possible). I occasionally get this on bodies of water containing daphnia or triops, and so far it hasn't had any detrimental effect on any of my animals (I clear it off because it can be difficult to clean off the sides of the tank).
