Breeding

I have giant fire bellied newts that I need to breed. I've raised the temperature gradually in the tank after hibernation, they eat well. I know they're a hard species to breed, so any tips would be appreciated. (i'm feeding them pellets, because they're not interested in meal worms)

Hm, pellets aren't that great. Have you tried wax worms or earthworms? My paddletails and tarichas love them! As for the breeding tips, I don't have any..sorry.

the name 'giant firebelly newt' is to vague, common names often are misleading-esp if sold under the wrong name at a pet store. if you can give us the species name we then can help you better.
