For my college assignment I am writing about Axolotl breeding strategies eg viviparous, oviparous. Does anyone know what is means and what it is?

Also anyone know where I can find on the internet the development of the young?

Axolotl.org... check there. There are some links that will help you there as well.

Viviparious means that the young develop within the mother and are live born. Oviparious means the young develop externally from eggs. Axolotls are oviparious as they the female lays eggs after picking up spermatophores placed around the tank by the male. These eggs then develop and the young then are 'born' by escaping the jelly case surrounding the egg.

There is a thread with some photos of developing eggs:

and from axolotl.org

http://www.ambystoma.org/AGSC/
is a useful link as this is the breeding centre for axolotls used in scientific research. The 'axolotl' tab has information about axolotl development, care details (although these are for care within a scientific environment) and some details of the different colour mutations and other genetic defects/quirks which have been identified in axololts.

Hopefully this gives you some help in finding out information about axies! I find them very interesting both as my much loved pets and as developmental and genetic models for scientific research

I should also add that it is probably polite to ask permission if you use the photos in your report!
