You would think I would know this by now, but what are some behaviors I should look for so I can know when my female is getting ready to lay eggs. In the past she seems to get awfully active right before I wake up to 150 eggs in their tank.

Do you mean, how does the couple behave? Or how does the female behave if she has already fertilized her eggs?

Eva: I was more interested in the female's behavior. Thanks!

I can only comment on the behaviour of my female.
I noticed some spermetaphores in the tank missing their top on the weds morning, Weds night she was all pink in her tail and her cloaca was more pronounced. She wasn't anymore active than normal but then again she is an active axie anyway.
Thursday morning....tank = eggworld!
