I have a 24" (61 cm)x24"x24" all glass aquarium that I would like to turn into a breeder tank for some type of newt. I also have a tetrafauna viquarium filter/ waterfall that I would like to incorporate, in order to make it a paludarium. Live plants in and out of the water is a must. I've had chinese firebelly newts and eastern newts in the past, but I'm looking for something a little more exotic this time around. T.verrucosus is my first choice right now. What I am looking for is advice on what type of newt, plants etc.
Thanks for your help on this new stage of my amphibious journey :)

theres soooo many things that you can get...you have to see whats available where you live...I own like 8 firebelly newts and trio of danube crested newts. There are many different newts that are cool in their own way.
