Looks like a girl, however I agree a better photo from side on, no angles will give us a better look.

I'll try and get a better one and repost. Would it help if I held her out of the water for a few seconds and took a picture?

Here :) I couldn't really get a good side-on one, so I took her out of the water for a few seconds and took these :) Hope it helps

Looks like a male to me. :/

Check out the pictures at the bottom of this page : Axolotls - Biology

I'm not an expert, but it looks like it's a bit swollen behind the leg, like in the male picture ?

Okay, so since the pet store (predictably) has most probably misinformed me about Chicken, I thought I'd double check about Fonzie also  Heck, I may have two boys on my hands
Any advice about either of their sexes would be appreciated  (And yes, I know the quality of the photos aren't amazing; they were taken on my iPhone).

First: The underside of Fonzie (left) and Chicken (right)
Second: A terrible photo, but this is Fonzie
Third: Fonzie from the back

Yeah they both look like males to me.:D Here are my 2 girls... both have grown another 2 inches since I took these pics (putting them over 9 inches or 22.86 cm for most everyone else in the world) and they still look like this down there.

Maybe that's why I wasn't getting any eggs
We do have one that's definately female, but she's looking a bit sick at the moment, refusing food, so I don't want to risk putting either of my boys in with her :(
