Does anyone in US has any of those 3 species?
Thanks

I got 1 Bombina bombina and 1 B. variegata in from a petshop friend about maybe 3-4 years ago. They died from very strange maladies, probably wildcaught. I don't think B. maxima is in the States, but I very well may be mistaken. Albino B. variegata can be found, but they are so ugly in my opinion. Bombina are illegal in my state, sad, as they are one of my favorite genuses(sp.?). Thanks, JVK

I see Bombina bombina and B.variegata now and then in pet stores here, though they are illegal. The Asian species are legal, and stores really don't realize a difference when ordering from out of province. I've also seen the albinos once. Unfortunately, never come across B.maxima, in any of its subspecies.
