Today i fed my eastern spotteds some blood worms, they both loved them and ate them up fats but not all of the blood worms. I used the frozen block ones. After the main piece was eaten there was a whole bunch of blood worms all around there tank. How do you get rid of these easy? Do the newts eventually eat them? Thanks!

With the aid of a turkey baster you can spot clean it very easily.

oh thank you i will use one of thos, so you just suck them out of the water? And also what if you have gravel and you dont find them all is it bad to leave them in there for a bit?

If you have a well-aged tank with some scavengers (like snails), then a few leftover bloodworms won't be a problem. However, if your tank is a new setup, it's very dangerous to leave any uneaten food. The food decays to ammonia, and this can be dangerous to the newts. I would recommend getting really skillful with that turkey baster;)

haha i will practice with it. And yes it is a new tank setup

Using some type of feeding dish like a baby food jar lid or petri dish lid works wonders for keeping the food in one easy spot to clean up.

I use both a turkey baster and a hamster food bowl.

Yes, bloodworms can really foul up a tank quick. You can also try putting them in a jar and putting the jar on its side on the bottom of the tank. Whatever is uneaten remains in the jar, and you can just take the jar out and dump it. When you put the jar in, let it fill with water at the water line, so that the worms don't all fly out into the water, then slowly put in at the bottom of the tank where you want it.

Thank you guys for the great idea! Im going to put them in a jar next time

can you put any snails in that would eat the bloodworms? or is there a specific kind?
