Illness/Sickness: Bloated Newt

I got home this afternoon and my CFB newt has been exhibiting a lot of symptoms of bloat. He is swollen in his midsection and can't move to the bottom of his tank because he can only float. He has also been shedding a lot, sometimes patchy and sometimes his whole body. He usually eats every other day, but today he didn't accept the worm I offered him.







Can anyone help me

Advice anyone? I am trying to schedule a trip to the vet this week but some input from anyone else who has experienced this.

Haha no, he's male. Since I posted this thread, bloat has gone down and he appears normal again. Just praying it was constipation and nothing serious.
