Believe it or not, it grows up and down a small stream by my home. Fraustdemon and I pulled out a ground mat section of it and a floating section, rinsed it through and through, put it in a small tank with an airstone, treated it for heavy metals, let it sit in there for 3 weeks testing the water weekly then added it to my display tank. Water stays crystal clear and they love playing in it!
