Question: Big enough for two tigers?

Those would fine, but make sure you get one that can allow for at leat 5in of soil for the tigers to burrow in. Those tanks seem incredibly practical for cleaning and really doing anything in your terrarium. I've always wanted to get one but they re just too exspensive to be economical for me:happy:.
 
That was my worry too, I will measure how much depth I have ... I just got my tiger today and already a normal tank is proving difficult.

as for economical ... These are my only sals so I feel I can splurge on one tank.
 
You could probably just slope the soil higher towards the back of that type of tank too.
 
Oh true ... I cant wait to get the terrarium. I plan to go to the store and measure it before I do anything.
 
Hey congrats on your new additions! Which type of tiger did you end up getting? I find that they do like to dig, but give them 2-3 weeks to adjust and I find they burrow less and may even climb medium sized branches. That being said, you want them to have some options as to where they chose to hang out, and they get stressed the first little bit without somewhere to hide. Also if you want more social tigers, hand feed. Then all it takes is wiggling your finger to get them to come running, which is hilarious.
 
They are tigrinum.

She is already very social. my male will be here Wednesday. The female spent last night climbing on her bark, soaking and begging me for more food.

I decided if its still on sale I will get the 24x18 so they will have even more space :) I have two " hides" and a soaking dish in their currently but when I upgrade they will get nicer things :)

Currently she comes out at about 6 pm which it isn't even dark at that point
