Hi. I had a tank full of mollies that were diseased by an angelfish, and I really need to get rid of any danger. I'm planting/making my walstad tank this weekend, so I need to move my axie into that for a couple days while it settles. I don't want any chance of disease touching my axolotl. I will probably just set him in a tub in the aquarium but I'm planning to use it for fish again afterwards so it needs to be disease free anyways. I was told bleach 1 part bleach to 20 parts water works.. is this true?

Apparently vinegar is a much better idea than bleach. When I had an axie die of fungus I used a vinegar/water mix to clean the tank and boiling water on everything that wasn't a live plant.

Okay! Is there any way I can clean a live plant? Its a 5 dollar plant so if I can't its not that big of a deal, I'll throw it out. Haha
