Best filter for 120l?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and new to keeping axolotls. I bought two wild-types yesterday after cycling the tank and they seem to be settling in just fine!

My only question is, I'm using the Interpet PF3 filter that came with the tank and its flow is quite strong. Does anyone have any experience with this filter or could anyone recommend a cheap alternative that won't disturb the water as much?

I use the pf2 and put a plastic plant in front of the outlet to break up the flow. I've heard shower puffs are also a really good way of reducing the flow. :happy:

Ahh ok. Luckily, I have a PF2 filter from a 60l tank that arrived smashed before I bought my 120l. Is the difference that noticeable? My current filter is just below the water line in the back right corner, where would be the best place to put it so I can put a plant in front of it? I think i have a couple of shower puffs hanging around, might try that too.

Mine's in the corner too. I got a large plastic plant from the pet shop to wedge in front of it. :happy:
