Best feeders for tiger salamanders?

I purchased two tiger salamanders the other day, and they have been feeding on crickets. Is there something else I could be feeding them that would be better for them?

Canadian nightcrawlers (Lumbricus terrestris) are best. They can be purchased at your local bait store and many Walmarts.

Earthworms, as previously mentioned, are considered the 'perfect' caudate food. Depending on how large your salamanders are, nightcrawlers may have to be cut into smaller pieces to feed.
