Belly colour change.

I have a fuzhong warty newt (Paramesotriton Fuzhongensis). He's an adult and was when I bought him over a year ago. I believe he's male but I'm not 100% Recently I've noticed that his belly pattern is changing colour. It used to be very dark black with clear defined orange spots...but now the black is almost gone and his tummy is nearly all orange. I'm not worried or anything as he's behaving normally I just wondered if this new colour change meant anything. This happened to anyone else?

Sorry I can't help u, no I belive its fine and it might be a breeding thing eventhough it is a ways off...

I won't take this as the gospel, but I've heard of some animals developing this as an aging thing. They just lose their patterns as they get older.
