I had a batch of leucistic x leucistic eggs posted from Belfast to the Midlands, UK.
13 are hatched including two sets of twins and 7 are still in egg.
Some are very dark so not sure about the leucistic cross... Will see how they come out.
I put them in plastic tubs with dividers til they learn to hunt. They are all separated except for the twin hatchlings.
I sat and pipetted a number of microscopic daphnia into each compartment but have yet to see a hatchling feed. They either stay still or dart if touched by a daphnia!
Bit nerve wracking this part. Hope they learn to feed soon. The oldest hatched three days ago.
