Alright so I've successfully hatched a couple of batches of brine shrimp, but after harvesting I always start the bubbler up again. Am I doing this right? After the eggs have hatched do I still need the bubbler? Is this killing off the bbs? What do you guys ussualy do?

Thanks!

I always harvested all the brine shrimp and moved to a seperate container to keep for feeding before starting off the hatchery again. BBS are at their most nutritious within the 1st 24 hours of hatching so if you're getting a much higher yield than the axy larvae are eating then it might be an idea to hatch smaller amounts of bbs at regular intervals - I always had 2 hatcheries on the go to make sure these needs were met x

Yeah, it's my first time raising larvae so I wasn't quite sure of the bbs protocol. Ussualy i'd harvest, feed them, and leave the rest of the bbs in the heathery to bubble around until the next feeding.

Harvesting them all and starting the next rotation is a good idea ;o

After the initial hatch do many eggs still hatch? Is it even worth it to wait for the 'late eggs' to hatch?

P.s. Where's a good website to buy bbs? The kit I bought at a pet store came with a limited amount of 'hatch mix' packets.
