Alright so ive got 2 new baby axies. most people already have seen them. they're only about 1 inch big atm. yesterday they were eating bloodworms when i hand-fed them. i attempted to feed them today earlier, Not sure if they ate though cuz i couldnt hold onto the worms, and they were still on gravel (not quite big enough to swallow the gravel) and since i wasnt sure, i tried again a few mins ago, One of them completely ignored it. The other took a bite, chewed a bit and spat it out >< are they full? Are they too small to be on blood worms? =[ (they did eat yesterday for sure) and im just worried. i dont want to wake up tomorrow and they be dead >.<

If they ate yesterday, then there's no need to worry at this moment. Try to feed them tomorrow. If they still won't eat try to give them something else. With 1 inch you can give them small bits of earthworm.

>.< alright. thanks. I guess i'll try again tomorrow then ><

Axolotls don't need to eat everyday anyway. One day isn't going to kill them :p no worries!

Lol I was told to feed my babys everyday till they're a bit bigger >< cuz they are still just tiny. ones only 1 inch and the others just under an inch =X

well they still dont want to eat today >< I use my tweezers and wiggle small peices of blood worm infront of their faces hoping they'll snap at it. but nope. they just swim away >< if they wont eat later tonight do you guys think i should attempt to hatch some BBS and go with those for a while? or they too big for that? ><

You can always give it a try. I gave my axie babies BBS when they were about an inch too. Also bloodworms, but I gave them the BBS so that they had something else to eat that day.

Maybe they're still full. When they're so young you can easily see if they have round bellies. They still might be full....

they might be >< but i dont know. aha. im brand new to the axie world. so im just really cautious and scared and worried.. haha ><

Feeling sooo much better. I got 1 of my babys to eat :) my other still hasnt although he/she might be full. or maybe still on BBS? im not sure. but i am Hatching some right now, just incase :)

At that size, I would house them with no substrate at all. They're especially sensitive to impaction when they're small, and it's a lot harder to keep gravel clean anyway. So why risk it?
