Baby shaped like U. , is he retarded ? Will he live

Eggs just hatched! Only one is shaped like u an can't swim straight wat shld I do with him! Could it heel or shld I feed him to a angel fish

When I had some like that, they never straighten out, and I had to cull them. I don't know if sometimes they do, or if it is inevitable that they won't.

I have one that was shaped like a comma, curved sideways. I thought about culling but I didn't. So far it has survived and the curl has started to straighten out a little. It is a lot smaller than it's brood mates.

It is still a little more work to make sure he gets enough food but it is doing very well.

All the slightly curved shaped babies I had straightened out. All the U shaped "spinners" eventually died even with special care and attention...
