Hello, well looking after all my baby axies I haven't had alot of time to message so whilst I'm having a cup of tea and a sit down I will update you.
I have 4 main colours (i think so far, difficult to say)

These are looking like wildtype

love the ones with the real dark eyes and pale bodies

You're right - They are just TOO CUTE!

I need to stop checking out the gallery cause I just want more and more and more axies. Bigger, better tanks, with awesome landscaping like everyone else. Then different themes in each tank. And EVERY colour axie you can get.

You seem to have a good start on having different coloured varieties Jenny. I am so jealous!!

Thanks to you all for your replies, it's difficult looking after alot so I sold some early on and am growing the rest. I will of course be keeping some ( any excuse to have more) lol.

Will post more pics as they grow.

You almost have a whole set! You would just need Black :D.

I'm looking forward to raising mine as they grow.

I know, mum is wildtype and dad leucy so I don't really know who hold what gene etc, about 1/2 where wildtype and 1/4 leucy then the other 1/4 are albino golden and whites.

My lady had 140 eggs only, all but 3 were fertile and then there were a couple that were not growing right in the egg so i fed them to my fish and a few were deformed when born so my Betta got them. I ended up with about 130 babies , I have 40 left, sold the rest, and have had no casulties at all.

They are great to watch and I can't believe how fast they grow, or the fact that my adults could have ever been that small? lol

Jenny thats great, no deaths!!
Honestly, congrats!!

You must be one hell of a baby axie carer AKA gradma!!!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
