Help!!! I have a hob filter that came with my tank and I would like to use it because I am having a really hard time keeping the tank clean. My axie is only about 3 inches and when i turn it on she starts flicking her gills. 
it also seems to be moving a lot of tiny particles around really fast so I am sure it is too strong. I tried putting a glass under it in attempts to break the flow but it doesn't seem to be working. Any advice?
