Hey just wanted to share some valuable info for those of you out there raising larvae. i raise my babies for a few days on bbs untill i get frustrated enough to move on . oh and ps when it comes to bbs i reccomend buying decapsulated hatching brine shrimp eggs as they are cleaner easier to hatch and tend to last a day or two more than the regular shelled eggs. Step two in baby lotl food Daphnia magna i personnally reccomend Rlmoormann@gmail.com she sends me a 3000 count culture of healthy russian red daphnia for 37.00 and she offers a dead on arrival replacement guarantee you just pay for the shipping of the replacement order and when she ships she includes a green water starter culture and some fish food to keep your culture going strong, and as a alternate supplier dallasdiscus.com is good in a pinch just a bit more expensive and can be hard to contact. ok step three in making a fat happy healthy juvie lotl Blackworms lots and lots of blackworms. i personally reccomend easternaquatics.com he ships two pounds for 40.00ish depending on shipping and is a great guy to deal with i believe his name is craig. so there you have it thats my two cents on raising larvae on live foods imo the best way to do it :) if you have any questions that you cannot find answers to on this forum feel free to pm me and i will get back to you asap.:D mods feel free to move if necessary but i figured this location was appropriate due to the subject matter and frequent questions on the topic.

It would be a lot more helpful if it were written more neatly. A little punctuation and bullet points are really helpful when you want to communicate! I'm not sure where to post this either.

Good call jen i was barely awake when i posted it i will revise it as soon as i have some more sleep. any chance of making it a sticky if i clean it up and provide some more info and references?
