Hello! My baby axolotl just came in the mail today. It is only about an inch long; it has one developed arm with toes and two tiny back legs with little toes. However, its other front arm is just a little stub. I am assuming it was developed but got torn off. Will it grow back normally? How long does that usually take? Thanks so much!

Oh yes it will grow back! my poor little guy had 2 arms missing and now they are both almost back to normal. It takes less time than you would think. Maybe a couple months. The only thing different with my axie when they grew back is that he has 3 toes on one hand and 4 on the other :D

At that age i would say a couple of weeks maybe 3. They regrow super quick as babies.
