Hiya, i'm new to this, so please bear with me, ive got eggs and they are growing as expected, im just wondering if all the babies will turn out the same colour??? i have three axolotls in my tank, a black, gold and an albino and not sure which is the one that has had the eggs!!!

no mine took a month to take a side, they were a grey color then half turned black and half turned white.

if the female was the golden or the albino they they will be all white then turn either black, albino, or golden

thanx, i know for definate now the male is the black one, just not sure if its the albino or golden that layed the eggs, i'll just be patient and wait and see

I have heaps of eggs that have hatched. How do I know if they are getting enough brine shrimp to eat? They seem to swim around a lot when I add the brine shrimp. Just want to make sure I'm looking after my first lot of babies...

The babies little bellies will turn orange. Do they swim all over or just kind of twitch?

They do a lot of twitching which I'm guessing is when they eat...?
Today I found that not quite 1/2 of my babies had died. I have been feeding brine shrimp and had air stone in 2.5 - 3 inches of water. I was doing 1/2 to 3/4 water change every 1-2 days due to feeding brine shrimp. They all seemed pretty happy and healthy. I am pretty devistated as all seemed to be going so well. I have done complete water change and removed air stone...some still have curved tails and others look strong and happy.
Just want to know if I am doing anything wrong as I don't want to kill any more...
