Hi all!

Well, the babies are all eating their bloodworms well, very VERY well, back legs are just about in, and I've got anxious new owners waiting, so I'm ready to let them go to their new homes!

But...how do I do that? What do I put them in for the new owners to take them home in?

I'll have an instruction page for them on care, with the url for this wonderful site and others that they can refer to, so they will be well in hand.

Thanks for the help and hope everyone is having a great weekend! :D

You can purchase fish bags from your pet shop. Just ask them how to tie them. They cost me 10c each on average. Some were given to me. You could ask the new owners to send you a picture of the tank so that you can check that the conditions are OK. You could also insist that people bring a master test kit with them so that you can show them how to test water. It takes about an hour to provide this tutorial to new owners but it is really worth doing. Last week a ten year old girl came to my place to learn how to test water. She went straight to the pet shop to buy a test kit and proceeded to speak to the store manager about the appalling conditions that the store axies were in! She is an axie advocate already. It made me smile. I'm sure her axie will be very happy too.
