Axolotls vs tiger salamander larval

Hi Folks,

how do you tell the difference between Axolotls and tiger salamander larval?

i some leusetic Axolotls in the petshop

can tiger salamander larval be leusetic?

If they are leucistic then you can pretty much guarantee they are axolotls. Just one leucistic tiger would be an extrodinary find let alone a couple of them.

May i enquire if you found the axolotls in a petshop in Singapore? It is illegal to trade or keep axolotls in Singapore.

Axolotls and Tiger Salamander Larvae look very similar and are very hard to distinguish.

no they are in malaysia pet shops.

Axolotls make interesting pets but unfortunately, bringing them across the causeway from Malaysia into Singapore is illegal. The consequences are serious so i would urge you not to attempt to bring them into Singapore.
