Theres a big Repticon Expo coming up near me in 2 weeks. Its the one in Charlotte NC. I was thinking about bringing my axolotl juvies that need homes. I have around 55-60 to home. Do any of you think this is a good idea? I wasn't sure if they were sold at these events, if they did well, etc. I called a little while ago, waiting a call back with information.

The table price is $95, i don't wish to blow that much if they wont even sell. Could easily make that back from selling a few, but thats saying they do sell.

What is your opinion on this event?

Hi Karamarinara, Sounds like you have a few to sell. $95 does sound a great deal and if it were me, I'd go for it. Can you imagine how many interesting people you will meet and the multitude of specialist conversations you'll have? Priceless.

Years back I had a similar dilemma. I hired a table at the Kempton Park insect show. I sold a whole load of inverts and covered the cost of the table. Between attending my table, I got to look around before the main folk arrived. I met some old friends, got answers to questions I'd always wondered about, met new people, met some incredible specialists, swapped animals, listened to myself answer questions and thought, wow, I know a lot. I had a wonderful time.
Good luck with this venture.

Ah thank you! I am truly considering it. Want to bring some art to the show too. I am just so worried I won't make the table cost back. Do you think they would sell well? I know the experience would be worth it, but I don't want to lose money, haha.
