Axolotl temperature

Hi I’m Tom I was wondering if 19 degrees Celsius would be okay for an Axolotl long term thanks

I think that is not a bad temperature. They can go colder than that. I've had mine for four years now and normally the temp is in the low 20's. I know all the advice is to go colder than that but that's the ambient temp in the room where I keep them and they seem to be doing fine. Just be sure they've got good water!

Thanks for the reply Dr. Phil here in Australia NSW it’s in the mid thirty’s I have a chiller set at 18 degrees at the moment but just to stop the chiller struggling so much I was going to bump the temp up to 19

You are very welcome - that should be no problem at all. I'm in Italy at the moment and here it's about 5 C with cold rain and forecast to get colder. Mid-30's doesn't sound too bad right now!
