Axolotl tail need help!

Hey everyone! I need some advice about my little axis tail. For about a month I've noticed the very tip of his tail looks kinda strange. It looks as though there's no bone or anything inside it it's just like white skin hanging off his tail. He has his normal shape of the tail then this random tiny piece hanging off the end. I can't say it's gotten any worse i think it's been that way since I noticed it. It's my first axolotl so still learning about them. I have attached a picture it is not of great quality but maybe somebody might know what the hell is going on

Looks fine, may just be regenerating from an injury. No fluffy fungus on it. ? Can't tell 100% from the PIC.

I really can't tell it's so small but personally I think it looks fungus like just starting out. Like I said it doesn't seem to have gotten worse or better so not sure what it is...

does it look like this? My melanoid has had his tail like this since october. Nothing has come of it. I don't think it's from regeneration, never hurt his tail. Just the way he grew.

Yes that's exactly what it looks like!! Thankgod it's not just mine so do you think it's harmless then just leave it alone?

Mine has that too. The tip of his tail bled due to stress when we took him to the vets. Since then it's grown extra skin on the end.

I would keep an eye on it if you just noticed it, just in case. But for my little guy it's been harmless.

Its fine. Axolotl tails seem to keep growing from the tip. As it is quite thin it can sometimes tear.

I had that in my first axie when i moved him from a smaller tank into his current one, it was there for 3+ months and he was fine otherwise.

The day after i introduced my new axie to the tank it was gone and he doesn't seem stressed about it

I've noticed a translucent bit on the tip of my axolotls tail also, I think it is because the skin is thinner where the tail is getting longer.
