Just a few moments ago, I peeked at my tank and there is Anubis balancing on his hind legs on a plant! He's better at this than my dog! Just had to share these - he stayed like this for a bit, what a nut!!

@vladimere - really? I've only seen Anubis doing this silly stuff.

@lea - He is halfway there. Great about going to get it, not so great about bringing it back! I'll let you know when I've taught him to speak and sit on command!

Its so funny when they do this. Mo Mo and Bubbles do it. Yesterday was so funny Bubbles was full of air and was just floating and then she let one big burp out and down she came, wished I could have got it on video lol.:happy:

@lea - I have seen the same with mine. They sit at their tile (a feeding area in both juvie tanks) and then when I am about to drop in food - they move on like they forgot!

Thanks Hannah! Yes, they are! I'm just usually too slow with the camera!

@Wendy - That's funny as Anubis is the only one of mine whom I've seen. He's the clown of the crew anyway! Anubis does that goofy floating thing too! The video - Oh, I know! If I had a decent camera, I'd never get anything done!

Get a Cannon Like Mine. It's sophisticated, takes great pictures, and eats batteries like an Olympic Athlete eats Wheaties so they are always dead. Saves a lot of time AND you get a good Camera. Also makes a decent paper weight.

My pair do this a lot tbh, they regularly come over to the front of the aquarium if I go near it, and paw up the glass. I've seen them balancing on their tail too, feet against the glass. Awesome creatures!

@ghogg - here it is that I thought he was doing something totally unique as I have never seen any of my others doing this! We all like to believe our axies are more amazing than than the next!

Well, I give him a couple of bonus points anyway, as he was balancing on a leaf about a foot off of the floor of the tank!

@Mac - my POS outdated Olympus already burns through batteries like they're water (I buy batteries in 48 ct. packs!) so I'm good, thanks!
