Axolotl or Salamander?

When i got it it looked like and axolotl, but after 7 days it lost it's gills and now looks like a salamander...

Axolotls are salamanders. It appears that your axolotl is becoming terrestrial. Can you get a better pic ? If you check my profile pic you will see three morphed axolotls.

Sorry for the crappy quality of the pictures, but my phone's camera really sucks, plus she was very scared and moving a lot :/
 
A better picture would be nice, that is really fuzzy.

Now that he's morphed, you'll need to keep him in a more terrestrial or semi-aquatic setups. Morphed axolotls (this is probably true of most of the neotenic Mexican species) seem to be more semi-aquatic than tiger salamanders, but you can keep them similarly. Here's a care sheet on how to care for your new friend!
