Axolotl or Salamander?

When i got it it looked like and axolotl, but after 7 days it lost it's gills and now looks like a salamander...

Axolotls are salamanders. It appears that your axolotl is becoming terrestrial. Can you get a better pic ? If you check my profile pic you will see three morphed axolotls.

Now that he's morphed, you'll need to keep him in a more terrestrial or semi-aquatic setups. Morphed axolotls (this is probably true of most of the neotenic Mexican species) seem to be more semi-aquatic than tiger salamanders, but you can keep them similarly.
