I just got my axolotl delivered Tuesday, it was shipped Monday. It came with pellets, I tried feeding it a few hours after I got it, I moved around the pellets in front of its face because they only go for moving food. It didn't eat it. Thinking it was just a picky eater, today (Wednesday) I got bloodworms for it, the same thing, didn't eat it. I've tried feeding it in a separate container from the tub, and while it was in the tub, multiple times. It might be because it was recently shipped so it's a little squirmish, but I'm getting worried because It's nearing 3 days without eating (assuming it ate before it was shipped Monday). I'm not exactly sure what the problem is..I don't think it's stressed, no curled gills or tail. It moves around the tub like it's doing fine but how long will it be able to go without eating?

FYI:
This is my first aquatic animal
It's a juvenile axolotl, about 3 inches
I'm using dechlorinated tap water.
My water parameters read 0 ppm of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate
It's in a big enough tub with a mug for hiding and an airstone. It has a screen on top of it in case it's a jumper and a fan over the screen to cool the water off.
The water temperature gets around 64 at night when my air conditioner is running and around 67 during the daytime when my air conditioner is off.
I've properly acclimated it when doing water changes.
It gets little to no lighting throughout the day. I do have a dim lamp but the setup is in a closet so it isn't bothersome or harsh on the axolotl.
I feel like I'm doing everything right, but it just won't eat and I'm afraid it won't make it ):

Axolotls can go quite a while without eating. Shipping is very stressful on them so not eating immediately after arriving isn't unusual. As long as the water quality is good and he doesnt seem lethargic, I would not be too worried at this point. Just keep offering him food (generally I find they eat better in the evening) and keep doing your water changes.

Thank you! I’ll try not to stress about it too much and keep trying to feed it here and there.
