They have been living in 10 gallons tank for 3 months, and I am shock that I watched the larger one attacked the smaller seriously during feeding them with blood worms 2 days ago. Both front legs are disable also the left rear leg. I use divider to seperate them immediately. It seems not willing to eat now. Please help & what I need to do?

Using a divider is a good idea. Ensure that you have enough hiding places and that you feed them at seperate ends of the tank.

Meanwhile, it is best to fridge the axie. This allows you to monitor food intake as well as the injuries. Fridging will also calm the axie down, promote healing and prevent infections. You can still continue to offer food during fridging.

Just to point out...10 gallons is pretty small for 2 axolotls. Also, judging by those pics..that is not a very suitable habitat for the axolotls. There are no places to hide, and now that the tank is divided into 5 gallon sections, that is not a large enough area for an axolotl to live comfortably.

I didn't put it in the fridge but it moves and eats now. I got the plastic tubes from petshop for them to hide and I will put them in my 33g tank later.as I think the tank is too small for them
Thanks

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
